Greetings Everyone,

I've had a day off away from all computers, and now i'm back and reading through what's gone on. And deeply gratifying what's been said is, and I thank you all.

I don't know how this news thing works, but in theory clicking on this article gives you much much more text to read or ignore.

Nationals 2007

Hey all

After a few fairly major setbacks with this years nationals, not least having to elect a new co-ordinator, we are nearly ready to send out the application packs. We also have an exciting competition lined up for talented artists and graphic designers to design the logo for the event and to win themselves some prizes too. Information and rules should be below and will be posted in the announcements forum too.

News From Sheffield!

"The Nationals 2006 in Sheffield are well into the planning stages and will be on the 7th to 9th of April. Download the first info pack and application form from the downloads section! Accommodation at Tapton Halls will be provided again at less than �50 per person, and the entry fee is held at �15. There are more categories on offer and we intend to use the forums to make sure as many categories as possible get run! Watch out for more information appearing over the coming weeks. See you in April!"

This site has been extremely useful in organising the Nationals. You have all joined up and become members of the forums and contributed to it's success.

For us it has been an invaluable tool in allowing us all to remain in contact with all of you as well as allowing us to 'brain storm' ideas around.

I have arranged that the site continue under the guise of http://www.studentnationals.org.uk so you may wish to change your Bookmarks before the current one expires.

I hope the site will continue to be used on the future and become a mainstay of the Nationals!

Pretty Colours :)

You may have noticed that I have reskinned the site. It is mainly so that I do not get confused with my own site at RPGMP3, from where the colours originally came.

Hope you like the new colours, I think it makes the info a little clearer to see as well as giving some additional functions across the top bar.

Entry DEADLINE

The nationals committee has decided on the date of 14th FEBRUARY as the very last we can accept teams for the nationals.

We will then aim to send out all confirmation packs by 28th February, so that any problems can be dealt with asap.

We understand that because many universities didnt receive their packs until too late to acheive the first deadline, and we again, can only apologise for this. However, for us to be able to collate all team entries, gm numbers, rooms needed etc, we Have to have a cut off date.

We hope that all teams still waiting to enter are able to do so by this dealine, and that they also understand our reasons for setting one.

Dates? Most likely!

For those with sweaty palms, we have pretty much confirmed the date for the Nationals. I am not saying we have for definate until the Room Bookings form is in my own sweaty palm, but I will let you know so you can start the planning.

The Nationals will more than likely, be on the weekend on the 1st - 3rd of April (very appropriate we think)
